Relax in the tub with these homemade Lemon Rosemary Bath Bombs.
There’s something about taking a bath that is so relaxing, It’s like your own personal hot tub without all the upkeep. Plus you can throw in bath bombs, salts or essential oils and customize the bath to your mood.
Once I learned how to make my own bath bombs, I was surprised and thrilled at how many different essential oils and colors you can add. One of my favorites being Lemon Rosemary.
How to make Lemon Rosemary Bath Bombs:

Ingredients:
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1 cup citric acid
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 4 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 3 to 6 drops of therapeutic grade lemon essential oil
- 2 sprigs of rosemary
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- Bath bomb mold
In a small mixing bowl, add in corn starch, citric acid, and baking soda and stir well.
Slowly mix in melted coconut oil and stir at the same time.
Mix in the essential oil, some rosemary and lemon zest and stir.
Add the bath bomb mixture to each side of the mold overflowing, then press together. Once you press together leave in mold for about a minute then remove and place on a tray to dry (harden) overnight.
Place a bath bomb in the tub with you and relax.
*When using new essential oils and products, always do a skin test on your forearm.
I absolutely love making my own bath bombs and watching them fizz. When I see the price of a single bath bomb at the store It makes me even happier that I know how to make my own.
