Tips on Cardmaking for Mother’s Day
When it comes to Mother’s Day, it’s about appreciating the role a mother takes, caring for everyone around here every single day. There’s nothing better than some straightforward heartfelt words from your heart. However, here are few tips to jazz up your printable card for moms!
Embellishments for Your Printable Mother’s Day Card for Coloring
This digital printing features a floral motif and Happy Mother’s Day greeting, so it’s super quick and easy to simply print out the card, trim to size, and color to your preference. You might consider choosing a color palette that is a favorite for your recipient.
However, there are many ways to embellish your card to make it even more special. Consider using glitter glue for decoration, stickers on the inside of the card where you will write your message as well as decorating the envelope and enclosing confetti or candy inside.
For moms with allergies, I’ve often thought about substituting real flowers with a flower postcard or stickers instead. It’s an easy way to show your gratitude without buying a bouquet that might actually not be suitable for allergic moms out there. I always try to be sensitive to everyone’s personality!
Add a Gift Card for Mom
Whether moms prefer coffee or tea, a drink gift card will always be welcome and much appreciated along with a loving greeting card. So consider what your recipient would most likely use and think of adding in a gift card along with your greetings. You can tape it on the inside of the card itself with some decorative tape!
Make it More Than Just Card
Finally, if you want to break the mold and make this printable card into more than just a card, consider printing it at a larger size so that you can frame it as an art print! You can go wild with coloring, painting, and decoration before framing just the front of the card to transform it into a work of art. In this way, a card can become much more as the gift itself.
