Trace your hand with a pen or pencil (normally, you can fit two adult hands on one 12x12 cardstock)

Draw out two ovals on the cardstock, away from the hands (they will all be separate pieces). Be sure your oval is larger than your thumb.

Cut out all the pieces you drew out on cardstock.

Flip over your cardstock pieces so that you do not see any pen/pencil marks.

Tape or glue the oval onto the thumb.

Draw out details of your polar bear's face on the oval (mouth, nose, eyes, ears).

Add details on each finger (they will act as the polar bear's paws)

Wrap a pipe cleaner around the "neck" of the polar bear. This will act as its scarf.
