Tissue Paper Flower Crowns Step-by-Step Pictures
Step 1 – Cut the tissue paper into squares.
My tissue paper squares were 2 inches by 2 inches.
Step 2 – Accordion fold the tissue paper squares.
Don’t worry if the folds are not 100% equal, it will still make a pretty flower.
Step 3 – Fold the tissue paper in half and cut the ends to a semi-circle.
You can also make the ends pointed for a different flower shape as well.
Step 4 – Unfold the tissue paper and twist a length of wire through the middle.
This is where the flower shape starts to show! Kids have a lot of fun doing this step.
Step 5 – Teas The Tissue Paper
Carefully tease up the tissue paper layer by layer until you have a flower. Repeat until you have as many flowers as you need.
Step 6 – Make your crown of a flexible wire.
Measure it on your child’s head first, then secure it in the shape of a crown.
Step 7 – Twist the tissue paper flowers onto the crown.
Now you are ready to add the tissue paper flowers to the crown. If you don’t think you have enough, you can make more.
